So after my last lesson I've now got a better idea of how I'm going to gain the knowledge i need for my research module on the question "Can Mobile Apps Improve Photography". I am going to do a questionnaire as part of my primary research. I will find out what apps people are using currently. Then from that i will ask what the pros and the cons of this are. What is good about using these apps and asking the people if they think that maybe all these apps have ruined the originality of taking a picture with an actual camera. Though all these apps look good if you don't keep the copy of the original picture then that picture loses something as it is not original anymore ie something like instagram has a vintage look to it but it is edit and even though it looks good you have maybe lost something to it.
I will also some extra research on the current and most popular apps and see where these apps come from how did they start and what are the features of them are. Then all this will allow me to write up on the the question i have posed in the first place. I will also ask people who actually do or are interested in photography in what they think about apps and do they think that maybe the authenticity of a picture is down graded by mobile apps. I think this will be the best way of finding out the answer to my question. When i have found out what are the most popular apps i will do some research on the company and take notes from this and then compare this to the notes that i gained from my questionnaire. This is because that people will have different opinions on various apps so the research will help me look at how reliable the answers are.
