Paul's Latest Task Park Duex

So the next part of Paul' task was to analysis a Year Two's blog and compare them to now and this time last year and see if they have changed.

I have chosen my good friend James Fairclough knowing him quite well from placements i will be looking at the difference in his blog from 1st year and review on the different categories

Technical:

Looking at the first year of James blog i noticed there is a lot of video content and a deep analysis but second yeah there isn't as much videos so it might be that he is moving in a different direction with his work.

Personal:

Both years of his blogs are pretty much the same they have got good detail and then at the same time have a bit of humor in it which is a nice touch because at the end of the day it is a personal blog and he is being open about his work

Problem solving/raising:

In his second years he has wrote about a problem he has encountered while on placement and compared to his first year stuff there is a lot more detail about certain problems he has encountered.

Descriptive:

James always puts a lot of detail into his work and this shows that he is very committed to all of his work though he might not have as much videos this year his detail in the blog is brilliant as when i'm reading it i can see that he has put the same amount of effort this year then he did last year but he has reflected more on it in second year. He has a lot more pictures which is documenting his journey and overall he has shown a lot of growth from first year. He writes about all the different projects he has been involved in and going back to his first year analysis he is going in the write direction to getting a good job

Reflective:

His first year posts showed a great amount of detail about what James wants to do. He analysis's  the work that he has done well and shows the journey of year one well  as i can see that he has grown. For the year two he has carried on this vain but has now included extra work that he has done like getting feedback from a client.

Working with James on a few projects has been good experience for myself and i have learned a lot from him and i plan to give experience to future NTU creative media students. I wish James luck for the future
